2011. 05. 30. - 10:22

The study consists of extracts of a larger, comprehensive report prepared by experts mandated the EU Committee of the Regions, Directorate for Consultative Works, Unit for Policy Analysis, Studies & Inter-institutional Legislative Planning. The original report – that has been finalised in November 2007 – consists of thematic chapters focusing on theoretical and practical aspects of equalities legislation at the local and regional level. The following chapters form independent parts of the report and may be useful and informative by themselves. The first part gives a general overview of EU non-discrimination strategies and relevant bodies, whilst the second part contains detailed information on each EU member state and its national and local anti-discrimination legislation and policies.
